What We Do...


Deposits Policy
  • Standard $3,950.00 Deposit (incl. GST) on complete wedding packages payable within fourteen days of package confirmation.
  • All selected service providers receive a deposit, legally contracting them to the provision of client wedding services.
  • Deposit confirmation will be sent to clients once ALL provider confirmations have been received and deposits have been accepted.

Cancellation Policy (package/provider)
  • Client cancellation from the time of booking to a date outside of nine months to wedding day will incur a 30% cancellation charge by way of partial forfeiture of deposit paid with the remainder being refunded to the client.
  • Due to the strict conditions from venues and service providers, client cancellation between nine months and six months to the wedding day will incur a 50% cancellation charge with the balance of the deposit refunded to the Client.
  • Due to potentially large additional fees Wedding Designs may be subject to in the instance of complete cancellations, client cancellations within six months to the wedding day will incur a forfeiture of the full deposit paid. Clients will be required to pay the balance of provider accounts in most cases.

Adult / Children’s Pricing Policy and Client Accounts
  • Package pricing remains fixed wherever possible. Wedding Designs does reserve the right to adjust package pricing in the event of any provider price rises. Unpaid account balances at the end of the wedding week may result in the withdrawal of the product or service in question.
  • The number of people stated on the Booking Form refers to Adult Guests at the reception. Children are billed as an additional charge, however Wedding Designs offers a reduced pricing schedule based on the final Adult Pricing. This policy is consistent across all venues. Some venues offer a ‘Children’s Menu’ and clients will be billed accordingly.
  • Product or service purchases within three (3) days of the Wedding/Function must be settled by E.F.T or cash only. Cheques will not be accepted.
  • Children 0 to 3 years - Free
  • Children 4 to 12 years – 50% of adult price
  • Children 13 to 17 years – 75% of adult price

Minimum Adult Number Notifications
  • The client will confirm the minimum number of adult guests by at least one month prior to the wedding date. Wedding Designs will then advise the client of the final per-person adult pricing rate based on these figures. Any variance below these final adult guest numbers will result in the per-person pricing schedule being increased accordingly in line with the increments outlined in the Wedding Designs Pricing Schedule.
  • Balance of payment for final Adult numbers will be required no later than midday, three (3) clear working days prior to the Client's Wedding (unless alternative arrangements have been made and confirmed). Again, Wedding Designs reserves the right not to guarantee event continuance if full payment is not completed by this time.
  • Any request for variation will be considered only if the client notifies Wedding Designs in writing by sixty (60) days prior to the wedding date.

Service Provider Responsibilities
  • All Wedding Designs Service Providers reserve the right to adjust package inclusions where necessary in order to fulfil their responsibilities under the Wedding Designs contractual agreement, however whilst service providers may assign tasks to other parties, the responsibilities and obligations under the Wedding Designs agreement remain with the Service Provider.
  • All Service Providers have indemnified Wedding Designs against all loss, cost, expense or damage the Wedding Designs Client suffers and against loss or damage to Property or Injury or Death of any person as a result of the Service Provider's actions in or about the performance of the Wedding Designs Agreement.
  • All Service Providers are required to obtain and maintain insurance against whatever risks may arise from the performance of Services under the Wedding Designs Contractual agreement.

Client Responsibilities
  • Wedding Designs Clients, by acceptance of these conditions, indemnify Wedding Designs against any responsibility for loss or damage to service providers’ product and/or facilities as a result of the actions of their guests. Financial responsibility for breakages or property damage by Wedding Designs Clients or their guests rests with the Client. Reception Centres may require an additional Method of Payment (i.e. Credit Card) to account for package extensions, additional product purchases or property damage.
